CONTACT SERVICES
|
In April Central Europe BPO will start its business. In the beginning it will employ 70 people. In the future an additional 200 employees will be employed. Their work will rely mostly on making phone calls. "We serve contact with a client through telephone, fax and e-mail. Our clients will be companies mainly from Austria and Germany" says Adam Eisenberg from Chicago, boss and one of the company founders. He has chosen Wroclaw, because of its proximity with Austria and Germany. The labor costs are 25% lower than in Warsaw. It is also easier to rent an office.

A CHANCE FOR GERMAN SPEAKING EMPLOYEES
|
New working seats will be created.
|
Central Europe BPO, will start in April. It will provide call center services. Recruitment goes on.
" I've chosen Wroclaw for the headquarters because there are good conditions. In the city are many universities and people speaking German and English. This kind of people we need to work" explains Adam Eisenberg, founder of Central Europe BPO. These are not the only reasons, why an American from Chicago decided to start a business in Wroclaw. The additional argument is location of the city - not far from Germany and Austria - countries in which the company will offer their services beside Poland.
"Besides, the employ costs are 25% lower than in Warsaw and 5% lower than in Krakow" says Seweryn Drozdz, Vice Director Operations. At the beginning the company will employ 70 people, most of whom - 50 - will be call center agents, who serve the info line via phone and internet. " We are looking for people who are fluent speaking German and having predispositions to handle clients through the phone" accents Drozdz. In few next years the company is willing to increase employment to 200 people.
The local government is satisfied with the establishment of new company. "Significant is that the company is new, not a subsidiary of existing company" says Rafal Dutkiewicz, Mayor of Wroclaw.

Hello, it's client on the line
|
It is going to be one of the newest contact center in this part of Europe.
|
A new contact center in Wroclaw is an investment of American company Central Europe BPO. The recruitment is ending and the business will start in April - call agents working at 50 seats will serve clients in Germany, Poland, USA and Great Britain.
- We are already negotiating our contracts. We are seeking for clients form different branches-starting from media companies to financial services - says
Adam Eisenberg, member of the board, an American, who has been living in Poland for about one year now. He's been working in financial services in New York and London. He was focusing on investments at European markets. 2003 he has come on the idea for settling down a company in Poland. In November 2004 he formally registered the company.
- This country has great potential. You are in the EU, you have rights that help to protect personal data, great geographical location. And it is already to see that companies locate here their accountant, IT or contact centers - counts Adam Eisenberg. Moreover, Poland is much nearer than China or India. Poland has chances for big success in outsourcing - he adds.
The location near German border convinced the American for the investment in Wroclaw. And great personnel. We care for our services to be the best quality. That's why we are looking for educated employees who know foreign languages, who we can find in Wroclaw - says Adam Eisenberg. - We want to teach them an American approach to customers. In the States people know, that the client is the most important in doing business. When I go shopping in Poland, I sometimes don't feel it.
Wroclawian employees will have a opportunity to verify their skills, for example in contact with American clients. - Despite the time difference we have a chance to come into being on this market - assures Eisenberg. - The Americans won't probably even know, that wanting to make their business, they are calling to Poland. Besides, they are used to this that their calls are going through the whole world.
The American are organizing their contact center in rented office at Wolnosci Square. The most important is the computer system. Contact center will be wholly based on IP technology, which uses computer infrastructure to send voice and information. - This will be the first, as progressive and big, implementation in this part of Europe - say
Seweryn Drozdz, Vice Director Operations. - Our agents, leading a call, will get all information about the client, history of contacts with him and information how his case was handled last time. This will simplify the service and improve quality.
How much money will the American invest in this system and the whole company? Adam Eisenberg answers prevaricate: " That information is not public available. This is a competitive market, it will surely be enough place for everyone".
He's also convinced it is only the beginning of the investment of Central Europe BPO in Wroclaw. It is possible, that if the contact center will succeed, the company will spread its activity with other services. Plans also forsee to increase employment.
